Dresden Bus Station
The main international and long-distance bus station in Dresden is situated next to Dresden Main Train Station (Hauptbahnhof) in the southern part of Dresden city centre. The bus station is in Bayerische Strasse, on the southern side of the train station. Practically all long-distance buses stop here, including Touring, Eurolines, and Berlin LinienBus.
Dresden Bus Station Local Transport Access
Thanks to its location next to Hauptbahnhof, Dresden Bus Station has excellent local transport connections. S-Bahn (local trains) stop here. There is frequent tram service in the main street that crosses Bayerische Strasse in the east – the street’s names in this area are Fritz-Löffler-Strasse and Am Hauptbahnhof.
Other Dresden Bus Stations
Some buses, although by far not all, stop also at Dresden Schlesischer Platz Bus Station (Berlin LinienBus does, Eurolines don’t). Schlesischer Platz is located in Neustadt district on the other side of the Elbe River.
