This page covers hotels on M50 motorway in England (Strensham/M5 to Ross-on-Wye). I will list the hotels with best access to the M50, ordered from east (M5) to west (Ross). All hotels listed here are accessible from both directions (eastbound and westbound).
Hotels near M5/M50 Junction
The M50 motorway starts at M5 junction 8, south of Worcester and north of Tewkesbury. M50 itself is very short (only 22 miles / 35 km), although it crosses three counties (Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire). There are actually no service stations on M50 itself, but M5 Strensham service station is less than a mile from the start of M50.
Strensham Services (M5)
Days Inn Tewkesbury – The hotel is on the northbound side of the services. It has 24h reception and free parking. It is non-smoking throughout; pets are allowed on request.
M50 Junction 1 (A38, Twyning)
Hilton Puckrup Hall Hotel, Golf Club & Spa – This hotel is less than a mile from junction 1, situated in a beautiful green area. It has its own golf course, as well as extensive fitness and wellness facilities (pool, sauna, gym). It also has free Wifi and free parking. If you are looking for something more than just a roadside hotel, this is probably the best place on the entire M50 motorway. Value deals are often available for this one on Booking.com.
If you prefer to stay in town, there are several good hotels and B&Bs in Tewkesbury, which is 3 miles from junction 1.
