Oslo Bus Station
The main international and long-distance bus station in Oslo is Bussterminal (Oslo Bus Terminal). Vast majority of long-distance buses and also some local buses terminate or stop here.
Oslo Bus Terminal Location
Although it is a capital, Oslo is a relatively small city. Oslo Bus Terminal is located in Schweigaards Gate next to the main train station in the very centre of Oslo. As a result, it is very close to the majority of important places in Oslo, including the harbour, Akershus, Oslo City Hall, or the Royal Palace.
Oslo Bus Terminal Metro and Local Transport Access
Metro (T-bane)
There are two metro stations immediately next to Oslo Bus Terminal, each on one side: Jernbanetorget in the west and Gronland in the north. Both these stations are on the main metro corridor running through Oslo city centre. All 6 metro lines stop here.
Trams
There are also trams at Jernbanetorget and another tram stop on the eastern side of Oslo Bus Terminal (Bussterminalen Gronland).
